ratchet wrench
Also known as socket wrench, is a professional manual tightening tool. The head of the ratchet wrench is installed with a square shaft that can connect with the socket. Rotate the bolt or nut in narrow place or inaccessible position. For loosening and tightening, the movable trigger can flexibly adjust the use angle according to the needs, which is convenient, quick, labor-saving and time-saving.
The ratchet wrench comprises: a heavy block connected with the operating rod, the heavy block can slide along the length direction of the operating rod, and the front heavy block bearing part is provided on the operating rod at the front of the heavy block to block the impact of the heavy block. Alternatively, there is a rear weight bearing portion on the operating lever at the rear of the weight that blocks the impact of the weight. Also, the operating lever may have both a front weight bearing portion and a rear weight bearing portion.
When the rocker swings clockwise, the pawls hinged on the rod are inserted into the teeth of the ratchet, causing the ratchet to rotate through a certain angle at the same time.
When the rocker swings counterclockwise, the pawl slides over the teeth of the ratchet, which stands still. In this way, when the rocker swings continuously back and forth, the ratchet wheel is rotated intermittently in one direction.
