A screwdriver is a common tool used to turn a screw into place, usually with a thin wedge-shaped head that fits into a slot or notch in the head of the screw.
There are mainly flat head (minus sign) and cross (positive sign). There are also common hexagon screwdrivers, including inner hexagon and outer hexagon.
Types by Structural Difference:
1. Straight. This is the most common one. The head model has a character, a cross, a rice character, a T-shaped (plum-shaped), an H-shaped (hexagonal) and so on.
2. L-shaped. More common in hexagonal screwdrivers, using its longer stem to increase torque and thus save effort.
3. T-shaped. There are many applications in the auto repair industry.
Different specifications of screwdrivers, different usage methods:
1. large screwdrivers: Long screwdrivers are generally used to tighten or loosen large screws. When in use, clamp the handle with your thumb, index finger and middle finger, hold the end of the handle with your palm, and tighten or loosen the screw with appropriate force.
2. small screwdrivers: Small screwdrivers are generally used to fasten or disassemble the small screws on the wiring piles of electrical devices. When in use, the handle can be clamped with the thumb and middle finger, and the end of the handle can be twisted with the index finger. damage the screw head slot.
3. long screwdriver: Press and turn the handle with the right hand, hold the middle of the screwdriver with the left hand, and do not place it around the screwdriver to prevent the blade from slipping and scratching the hand.
Precautions:
Electricians must use screwdrivers with insulated handles.
When using a screwdriver to fasten or remove live screws, do not touch the metal rod of the screwdriver to avoid electric shock.
In order to prevent the metal rod of the screwdriver from touching the skin or touching the adjacent live object, an insulating tube should be covered on the metal rod.
When using, you should pay attention to selecting a screwdriver with the same size and size as the screw top slot.
Do not use the screwdriver for other purposes to avoid damaging the screwdriver handle or blade.
